Love INC

Love INC, which stands for “Love In the Name of Christ,” is a network of churches working together to meet human needs. The mission statement of Love INC is “to mobilize and facilitate local churches in meeting verifiable and manageable human needs of the community in the name of Jesus Christ.”

Love INC is a national entity with local groups such as the one here in western Cuyahoga County; 17 churches and two businesses are partners. The partnership provides transportation, clothing, furniture, auto repair, baby needs, food, money management and nutritional counseling, painting, electrical skills, and more.

We support Love INC with providing a coordinator, Rhea Shuster, who can be reached at 440.801.1082, an inventory of our gifts, resources that go into Love INC’s data base, and twice a year door offerings.

Love INC of western Cuyahoga County in 2006 assisted 210 families, 390 adults and 499 children. More than $100,000 in goods and services were provided. In the last quarter of 2006 a referral from Ascension resulted in the person being connected with other agencies in our county and also provided a Christmas present for the child. The executive director for Love INC, Janice Cepulo, visited Ascension last fall, talking about our ministry together, updating our gift inventories, and receiving a door offering.
